• Appleby Kennels can accommodate any size dogs of all sizes in our climate controlled indoor accommodations (16 ft. X 4 ft.).
• We offer a grassy area where dogs can play and enjoy an individual “workout.”
• Bring the food you feed your dog regularly to maintain a consistent diet. We adhere to your current feeding schedule. Treats are given throughout the day.
• We supply food bowls.
• You are welcome to bring your dog’s bedding that is durable and washable. (No pillows or comforters please).
• Medication is dispensed at no extra charge.
• We accept cash only

Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed
• Our services are available during these major holidays but our front office is closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas–no arrivals or departures.

Lee Bougneit, ISA Certified Arborist, CLP, CNP, SLM, AZQA

 

Lee joined the Appleby Kennel family more than three years ago and is our main caregiver. His love for dogs and animals dates back to his childhood summers on his family’s farm in Wisconsin. Lee’s dog training experience started with his family dog when he was eight years old. He establishes a personal relationship with every dog and treats them as his own to make them feel safe and loved. Lee also enjoys working with our new dogs to help them adjust quickly to the boarding environment, which includes playing with them outside to enjoy a bit of sunshine.

Lee is also an accomplished retired chef and is a certified arborist. He still lends his horticultural expertise of over 30 years to the professional landscape construction and maintenance community all across the valley of the sun.
